I used a mudflap from a semi trailer to do my grill block. It's washable and easily removable/re-attachable. Here is how it looks:



I removed the upper part as my temp sensor is going out in my car, at least I think that's what it is. When I'm driving, regardless of the load, my temp gauge will fluxuate from fully cold (as if car has been sitting) to half way (normal temp). When it goes fully cold my heater gets so hot it will burn you if you put your hand in front of it. It was doing it before I put the grill block on it so I know that's not the problem.
