The Torque app does the same thing. It cuts out when I first kill the engine. The speedometer and odometer continue to work when the engine isn't running, which is more important to me.

I hate watching my battery voltage drop when EOCing. It goes from 12.6 to 11.9 after 30 seconds with the headlights and heater off.
