My speedometer is more correct with the taller tires.
With stock tires :
Speedo : +9%
Odo : Correct
With taller tires :
Speedo : +3%
Odo : -6%
Measured circumference under load :
155/70 : 1715 mm
155/80 : 1820 mm
I simply apply a 1.06 factor (also verified on daily trips before/after tire change) on the distance to calculate the consumption. As simple as that.
