You have no reasonable expectation of privacy for what can be viewed from a legal vantage point (tracking included). REP is nearly zero with vehicles.
You also have no reasonable expectation of privacy on the phone, in your snail mail, emails, and texts, walking down the street, gassing up at the station, cashing your check at the bank, buying cat food at a store, sleeping in your bed at home, posting on fuel saving forums, or surfing porn on the net.

That's OK though, because the USA is the greatest country on Earth, what with all the freedom and stuff.
