I found a great video by an aerodynamicist today. Through my CFD work, I've come to realise it's all about pressure. This video clarifies some points, but doesn't explicitly say that aerodynamics is about MOMENTUM and the pressures it creates.

I get annoyed when laymen say that cars today are designed "backwards". When you don't have twenty feet to recover pressure, you need to make gains on the front end. I suggest that the aero template induces lift and hence drag, and maybe it should be more elliptical on the front - like a shark.
