Very often true. Similarly some will cry that someone with whom they disagree is being offensive. As if their being "offended" gives them the right to call for the silencing of someone, while using that as a lame excuse.
It reminds me of when my kid was about 4 years old, and would say "Mommy make him STOP" when she found my comments uncomfortable. Eventually she grew up and stopped being childish.
