Increases in Flame speed does not necessarily increase power or efficiency.
For example:
The Lean Burn operation in Gen-1 Insight is actually a slower flame speed , but yields a higher energy efficiency... where the rich burn in the same engine has a faster flame speed , but a lower energy efficiency.
