If I am going to spend $30-50k+ on a vehicle, I am going to use it for what it was designed to do. Then again, I'd buy a really used one and save the rest of my money.

That's what the xl trim is made for. However I don't think they're all that much lighter. My friend's xlt crew cab with a few options weighs in at about 5700 pounds
