Yes, I cut off the top section of an extra bumper cover and used it as a splitter. Obviously it perfectly matches the contour of the bumper on the car. It sticks out past the original bumper, moving the stagnation point much lower. I hope I'm using that term correctly! I believe it's keeping air from going under the car without adding frontal area. No ABA testing done, but I did get my best highway trip mileage after installing it.
