Yeah, if 'nowadays' means since at least the mid-50s. Same mechanicals, some variation in sheet metal (back then, Cadillacs had to have tail fins, Buicks had to have fake exhaust ports in the front fenders...), add some fancy trim & leather seats, and up the price for the suckers.
