First time over 30 mpg. Trip going and returning with most of the trip across Texas on I-10 going the limit of 75-80 mph. The two legs are broken into two parts because of fill-ups.
Going: 25.97 mpg
26.55 mpg
26.16 mpg average
Return: 30.61 mpg
29.66 mpg
30.135 mpg average
It's probably obvious that the return was wind aided, but the going was still above EPA of 25 mpg highway. Coming back would have been a 400+ mile tank (16 gal) with no problem. Yes I did some coasting through the hill country, but most of the trip was very flat, so constant throttle was the only way to go.
