The most experience i have with fuel age is in lawn mowers, people will say not to let the gas sit all winter or it won't start. That's garbage. If you fill a push mower with gas that was purchased in April then leave it all winter and try to start it next April, yeah you will probably have issues. But if you only buy a gallon or two at a time then the gas you buy in September will be just fine in April.

Long story short, my opinion is that 1 year is the maximum. But with a good detergent added you can still use it.
