I use to work in a call center that was 100% business. THey measured all stats they could to 2 decimal places. They gave you an hour, 30 minutes for lunch and 2 15 breaks. It was up to you if you took them, when or just left an hour early. Unless you cut yourself short or shorter than the next guy you never made it to a #1 spot. I use to use bottles under the desk and I tossed the bottles in the trash in the bath room during break.
I use to save time by eating while in the bathroom. The only way to get ahead there was to combine activities. I use to chem trail mix in one side of my mouth and talk to customers out the other. Having to hold or connect to another dept was a nice treat as you can do things that impaired your ability to talk.
Other people use the first break to get lunch and second break to eat it and skip or work through lunch.
