Whenever you dismount from a vehicle during a mission, you need to check your 0, 5s, 25s, 100s--they varied those, but the idea was that you look around, make sure it does not look like anyone is going to shoot you, etc, look right below you, so you do not step on an IED, scan five meters out, twenty-five, etc.

At night, instead of doing all of that with a flashlight, I might just pee off the steps without ever getting off of the truck.

We always had female Soldiers that tried to prove that they were tougher than any man. I heard of a female gunner that would utilize bags during missions. She had the advantage of standing, but I would have hated to be in the truck with her!

I really hope that is the worst this thread gets...
