Update: I think I've finally found the correct part number for the VX/CX tranny's final gear, with the 3.25 ratio: 41233-PL3-A00 Can anybody confirm or deny my findings, please?
If this is the correct part number, it's a real bear to find one online. so far the best price I could find for all my digging around online is here:

not cheap at $172.50 delivered, but i do plan on keeping this little car running for quite a while, so as long as it's the right part, ok.
How about a part number for the output shaft to the vechicle speed sensor? can anybody point me to the appropriate diagrams please?
