I read about someone who made his own chassis (aluminum) and did a fiberglass body. I think he did 4 12v lead acid batteries and gets 25mph with a range of 12 miles. Here's my question... if I doubled the batteries, how would that effect range and mph?

I would like to get 35/40mph with a range of about 20+ miles.
