Was the vehicle reported to the DMV as a "total loss" by the insurance company? If so, then obviously you'll have to state that in the advertisement and the new owner will need to go through the inspection process once the vehicle is repaired: see https://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/brochures/howto/htvr13.htm
