I use to be into stuff like that, but then I learned to what extend people go to "cheat". Inflating tires to 120 psi, gutting the interior of the vehicle. Shorting the fluids a qt in the tranny, engine, radiator, draining the windshield washer fluid just to name a few.
When I did mpg runs I used the cruse control and filmed a segment with youtube to show the settings on the ac, heater, radio, etc.
