cant hurt to get some more air out of the wheel well..
as for air flow, i just made a small hole drove around watched the gauge, went home made the hole bigger , drove returned made hole bigger , then once i got the needle downto standard temps i stopped making the hole bigger, my hole is the size of a licence plate on my CRX.. 1.5 liter no AC
