No one mentioned the supplies/routine that i use to shave so here is my addition.

Supplies
BIC Disposable Shaver
Aloe Vera Gel

My routine
1. Partially fill the sink with COLD water.
2. Toss the razor in the water to chill (Metal contracts when cold).
3. Apply Aloe Gel as you would shave cream.
4. Shave rinsing in the water still in the sink. If razor gets clogged wipe off with thumb by running your thumb away from the blade.
5. Clean up, leaving the cap off of the razor to keep it from rusting.

The benefits of using Aloe.
1. Moisturizing/ lubricating
2. Can see the hair and skin through the gel
3. Natural (some have extra stuff added)
4. Its soothing and helps heal cuts if you nick yourself.
5. If you miss wiping the extra off you can rub it in.
6. You probably have some sitting in a cabinet at home.

Note: If the aloe has added ingredients to sooth/numb burn it might tingle on sensitive skin like the ICE part of ICE HOT.
