I find it interesting that the previous owner had enough money to buy over-sized wheels but not enough to paint a replacement fender. The rest of the car looks clean, and it probably brought a premium price tag. My guess: $4k.

Would I have paid that much? Probably. A rust-free 92-95 hatchback is almost unobtainable in my neck of the woods. If you do find one, it's been raced and motor swapped to the point where nothing on the car is original. These cars will continue to go up in value, and if you convert to a manual transmission and keep it clean it should be a good car.
