I voted >6. Here is why. I drive about about 20,000 total miles with both cars. Both cars get about 50 MPG. My cost yearly at $3.00 is $1,200. My old cars were an Eldorado and a Silverado pickiup. These cars averaged about 16 MPG This annual cost at $2.00 was $2400. So If the cost of gas goes to $6.00 then I am back to where I was 2 years ago.
Two years ago, My wife and I decided to change from fuel hogs to a VW TDI and Prius. We figured that gas was going to continue to go up and up and up.
Now that being said, I want to boost my current MPG better then where I am now.
