I wasn't sure if I should start another thread or just toss it all up on here..
here are my results towing a trailer that weighed about the same as my truck if not heavier..
first off, I hardly ever used 5th gear (5 speed)
my average speeds were from 45-57mph..
First Tank (Modesto CA to Truckee CA)
168.9 miles - 11.87 gallons - $4.69/gal = 14.22mpg
Second Tank (Truckee CA to Mill City Nevada)
169.8 miles - 9.35 gallons - $4.29/gal = 18.16mpg
Third Tank (Mill City Nevada to Carlin Nevada)
129 miles - 7.74 gallons - $4.19/gallon = 16.78mpg
Fourth Tank (Carlin Nevada to Twin Falls Idaho)
190 miles - 11.30 gallons - $4.21/gallon = 16.81mpg
Fifth Tank (Twin Falls Idaho to Blackfoot Idaho)
133.8 miles - 7.87 gallons - $4.09/gallon = 17mpg
Sixth Tank (Blackfoot Idaho to 4 Corners, Montana)
212.8 miles - 11.36 gallons - $4.19/gallon = 18.73mpg
Seventh Tank (4 Corners Montana to Billings Montana)
147.6 miles - 7.59 gallons = $4.10/gallon = 19.44mpg
Eighth Tank (Billings Montana to Miles City Montana)
145.6 miles - 8.12 gallons - $4.11/gallon = 17.93mpg
Ninth Tank (Miles City Montana to Beach North Dakota)
112.8 miles - 6.08 gallons - $3.95/gallon = 18.55mpg
Tenth Tank (Beach North Dakota to Mandan North Dakota)
151.8 miles - 7.94 gallons - $4.09/gallon = 19.11mpg
Eleventh Tank (Mandan North Dakota to Valley City North Dakota)
114.7 miles - 7.76 gallons - $4.09/gallon = 18.64mpg
Twelfth Tank (Valley City North Dakota - XXXXXX Minnesota) **spilled something on it**
114.4 miles - 7.76 gallons - $3.91/gallon = 17.87mpg
then off of the next tank, I had roughly 1/2 gallon till I made
it to Monticello Minnesota.. So thats pretty much when the data ended..
I'm not sure if I should add this to my ecomodder fuel log since there
was a special circumstance to these numbers (towing a trailer)
