Everything in my life has been a mistake!

I watch Saturday Night Live very infrequently, but I caught one skit where some guy (in real life) had just attempted to break the world record for holding his breath and failed miserably. They "interviewed" him on SNL's "news" program, he starts breathing forcefully, and announces that he is going to try again, while the anchor realizes that he is doing that on their "news" program. The seconds tick on and the guy starts struggling. He finally gasps and asks "Have you ever just wanted to breathe?!"
"Uh, yeah, I guess so..."

Seventeen seconds.
