I've been thinking along the same kinds of lines but my truck has 17" aluminum wheels. The only Mooneyes option is the screw-on which isn't something I want to do to the only set of wheels I have (not to mention having to break the bead and reseat the tire), but it would solve the problem of losing them on bumps or having them blown off by air exiting your engine compartment.

Anybody found a good way to clean up aero on a 17" aluminum wheel? I can't go smaller due to brake clearance and if I invest in another set of wheels I want to go lighter (than my existing cast alloy 17x9) and I doubt the full-size spare steel rim would save any unsprung/rotating weight.
