I like the idea of it having its own brand named motor , it will help solidify the company as a true automobile company and not just a chassis maker.
Not to mention they will design a modern lightweight aluminum engine that is purposefully designed and not a adapted motor from a much heavier vehicle.
Fitting how their New Plant is ex Hummer plant , ironic.
