Brief summary, it's different than the Cobalt issue. Essentially they use a large flappy fob, and if the knee hits it, it is easy (relative to other vehicles) to turn the engine off while driving.
Seems over cautious to me, but since the airbags won't deploy if it is not in the Run position, it seems fair. But if it were me, I wouldn't be switching to this key fob for it:
