Scooter and Citroen Nut in New Zealand

Hi from Auckland New Zealand. Gas is going up here too, however I have always been an economical sort of guy. Lots of Scottish here and I have a Dutch father so there you go. I have 3 Citroen AX's, 4 BX's and a swag of scooters. I have spent the last few years online looking at alternative transport vehicles especially electric bikes and cars. However as I dont have a workshop or space at present (scooters inside and cars everywhere outside!) all I'm doing is reading about it. Some of my favourites are Twike and Denali Blade Electromoto. Driving my Citroen AX10RE I'm only getting around 6l/100km or 39mpg US or 47mpg UK but thats urban and 110km/hr highway speeds... According to websites the AX10 should be able to do 74mpgUK (62mpgUS)@90km/hr (56mph) so, I'm the nut that needs adjusting....Does anyone know of ecomodders here in NZ? Thanks for the website, hope I can add something of use. Frank Collette
