I'm with sendler on this one. The 250 is the way to go. The 125 is wheezy, anemic and dangerously slow. Fun on 30-40 mph side roads but definitely not highways. The two people I know with CBR125s were done with them in less than a year and couldn't get rid of them because nobody wanted them. I've seen them sitting on my local Craigslist for $1300-1500 for months at a time. I'd rather have a Grom because they at least have character.
With a gearing change the 250 will at least equal the 125 in economy without being dangerous.
