Hello -
My life's verrrrrrrrrrry complicated in silly ways and the car is integral to dealing with those complications, so I don't think I'd change the number of miles. I'd just switch to a more economical car or maybe add a motorcycle. I would try to telecommute more. I have tried that in the past, but the job requires physical presence in a lot of testing situations.
I think that the society around me would react to the higher prices and start doing some of the things I do.
Sooooooo, I'll vote > $6.01 too.
