Wrap apiece of wire around the antenna and coil wire or plug wire and turn the radio on to am. You will hear the spark plugs firing on the radio as a static noise that changes when you change the rpm.
If its dying due to loss of spark the noisewill go away when it dies.

If not then find out if it the fuel pump is in the tank and that it is safely secured in its proper location.

In neither of these then the above advice isgood so far.
