I would say somewhat yes to your statement. I am sure their are HONDA forums where a more detail specific response could be made to your inquiry. My understanding most Honda IMA vehicles have a traction battery and therefore could be supplemented. The method process to do so is based on your choice of additional energy storage setup. You could get a local salvage yard traction battery similiar to your current vehicle or see if other options are do able..........
