Those 50 year old mechanical drum brakes are working just fine Frank.

Next hurdle is the carburetor. Got a wiring diagram on my desktop and it does not need a battery to run from what I have read. If I can get the ignition working and the carb decent I can always run it down my driveway to get it started. I did that already to get some oil around the motor, after a shot of WD 40 in the plug hole.

No frozen bolts or nuts. It still has the untouched (until me) tool kit under the left side cover.

I guess I could roll it down the driveway in gear and see if the lights work which would tell me the charging system is up to snuff LOL.
