I beleive that many answers re Vortex generators can be found by researching Citroen, France is well known for aerodynamics who am i to question experts in the field of aeronautics, these vg's are used on jet fighters as well as the piper cub i certainly do not see thwm as bieng all show and no go..............
MY VG's will be installed on my rex next week all hand made to the specs Citroen has recommended.............never though that i would be using a geometry set again.
