You grand father must of been rich. My mothers fathers started his model t on turpentine, then once it warmed up switched to lamp oil. Luckily Mr Ford included a timing adjustment in addition to an idle or throttle adjustment so you can tune for the fuel you are burning. Once fuel #2 is up to its point of becoming voiltle it burns like gasoline.
