Thanks for the recognition. Yeah, civic was up to 200,000 miles when I traded it for the Fit, for space reasons. Original clutch. I doubt anyone on this site has done more bump-starts than I have. Well, maybe Metro and maybe Wayne at "that other site", but that's about it.

Lubrication? The engine was just running 30 seconds earlier. Where did the oil film on all the parts go? Did it evaporate? Pour some oil on your hand and wait 30 seconds. You hand will still have oil all over it.
