I bump start my car twice in the first mile from my house, and in my 21 mile commute I end up bump starting it a couple of dozen times (I'll count tonight). Far as I know it's still the original clutch plate, but I haven't noticed any signs of excess wear yet.
I also key start it back at every light I actually have to stop for, so in that same 21 miles I probably start it from a dead stop 7 or 8 times. My warm engine fires up almost instantly, and I really haven't noticed any warning
signs of aging yet
