I'm keeping the VX, at least for now, it has more storage space then my CRX HF did and the Insight has less cargo space then the CRX, and I do use it to haul stuff, like the 250 pounds of rock I had in the back the other day.
My big reason for keeping the car tho is that I know it, I don't have any issue driving 5 hours in it, I know it's solid if I have to I can haul stuff.
My parents also got a Nissan Leaf, so my car is now the popular choice for visiting grandma, when I save up some money I plan to put lithium batteries in their old electric car and use that for around town and going to work saving my VX for longer trips.
