The only other engine thing I've seen referenced by some as good for engine efficiency is a wetting agent in the coolant reservoir. Some see good results from it, others see nothing. I'd say wait until you get the UG and your car is ready for a radiator flush to try it, at worst it's $5-10 wasted, at best some people say their system stays cooler with less fan action.

As for non-engine mods, I didn't see you mention increasing tire pressure. It's easy and you can do it right now. Some people go as high as 10-15psi over the sidewall rating. Adding a belly pan is probably pretty helpful on something as high as a truck as well, although I'll admit I haven't done much reading on trucks on here.
