I like the lugnuts with the stainless caps. Yes the underlying nut can corrode, swell up, and mess up the cap and it's fit to the wrench. But on wheels with exposed lugnuts they look so much better than regular lugnuts and actual chrome gets rusty far too quickly.

I bought replacement sheathed lugnuts and my strategy is to soak them in hot thick oil such that the space between the sheath and the lugnut is filled with oil thus preventing the dreaded corrosion. /hijack
