I do the same when accelerating. Whats your 0 - 55 MPH time?? I skip shift from 1-3-5 or if I start from the top of a hill ill shift 2-4-5.

I'd have to time my zero to 55, but it'd be around a minute at a guess. Like I said, I ease it up to speed, through every gear. I never skip shift cause I'd have to go over 2K rpms, but I'll definitely start out in second if I'm on any kind of down grade at all . . .
