Excellent write up but how is coasting with the engine still cogged in and spinning at road speed with the decompression lever, more efficient than just coasting at idle with the clutch in like everyone else does? And, isn't the injection pump still spraying fuel right out the tail pipe at the idle quantity times the rpm anyway? Better to just let it idle if you don't want to shut it off when coasting.
