Interesting. It looks like a fastback cover would be even more effective if you removed the tailgate and brought the back end all the way down to the bed.
Such a cover would be great for people who have a pickup just for occasional towing.
Back when I had a truck, the tailgate was very heavy. I'd guess 100+ lbs.
