1) COLD air is DENSER than HOT air.
2) HOT (less dense) air from radiator will RISE.
3) HOT (less dense) air has lower viscosity and thus clings LESS to surfaces.
HINT -- view a radiator as being a low-temperature example of a ram-jet engine: cold air IN & hot air OUT = THRUST.
