The Siemens motors appear to have a tightly coupled and engineered interface to their intended gearbox. The adapters that I have seen are very interesting but are several levels above my fabrication expertise. I would need assistance to get it into the car.

ALSO off-topic (sorry) Right now I'm trying to fit a Warp-11 Series DC motor into a Mazda MX6. It's about 2 inches too long and I can't QUITE get that from removing the aux shaft. The metal itself on the fender as well as the shape of the metal appears to be an integral part of the car's structure ... so I don't want to remove any more than I already have
