After close to 100 miles today and some more fresh fuel ($2.969) from walmart, the idle is smooth and I have the title in my name. Went to the DMV and took care of that, insurance company for insurance, county for taxes and registration and the state inspection. The side marker lamp was in my mailbox when I got back from lunch. When I went to install it the speed nuts basically disintegrated, so another $3.50 to advance for replacements and then the state inspection.
It shifts into neutral and back to drive easily, even at Interstate highway speeds. I think 40 MPG should be fairly easy especially with the formerly weak injector working fine now. Techron and fresh fuel and 100 miles saved me from pulling the manifold.
I'll top it off tomorrow and see what I can do with the engine running right. About $650 total spent right now including all titling and registration-tag fees.
