The silliness (IMO) of the "stimulus" check concept aside, supplying foreign-made products wouldn't constitute a short-term stimulus to the US economy, which was the point of those checks. Well, OK, the point of those checks was short-term political gain.
FYI, a major beneficiary of the stimulus checks was the online pr0n industry. That gives a new slant to the term "stimulus," doesn't it?
