Got the mpguino installed in my VX over the weekend, and I'm averaging 52.7mpg on my 40-mile round trip commute (and I think it's slightly under-reporting due to not being calibrated yet).
Also, we recently traded the Element in for a Subaru Outback... it has an instant and trip mpg display, and my wife is enjoying the "mpg game." Instrumentation is the key to economy!
