accord_minded, you could do something like I started with on my truck. No air dam, but I do have a short lip spoiler (splitter) protruding out level with my belly panels. The first step for that was making a piece that only extended back about 16 inches; I made some brackets that mounted to the bumper bolts and the splitter....
