Do you know about the Aeromodeller story?

It's one individual artists effort. He's in no hurry. The hull cross-section was designed upside down in liquids with the heavier liquid in the 'bag' representing lift. The same way Gaudi engineered his cathedral.

Long as a football field with a cabin the size of a studio apartment, made with mountaineering tent technology. When it runs low on hydrogen fuel you just drop anchor and the rotors become windmills that crack water for the hydrogen. So you sample the local produce for a few days and then proceed on your way around the world!
